A small project for keycaps with an inset braille legend on top of them.
Looks great when you can print them with the translucent bottom part of the key and then add on top of it an opaque dish. There's also an indent to make the alignment easier.
The keycaps_top
contains 2 additional keys on top of the set - j and k respectively with the little bar on the bottom of them.
I've printed it in resin. The bottom of the keycaps were done in translucent green from anycubic (didn't have anything else) and the dishes were done in some flexible resin, although because of the plethora of issues I've encountered and lengthy post-processing, I'm not sure if this is the best route.
If you're also gonna do it in transclucent resin, remember to spray on the bottom of the keys some gloss varnish. To fill in the legends with black, I recommend oil washes (you can easily clean off the overflow with a qtip after it dried up a little bit).
EDIT:
I've also added “full” keycaps, that is they're not separated into the dish and the body of the keycap separately. Thought it might be helpful.
