A bit dissatisfied with the stock filament sensor (and its associated workflow) I wanted to find a way to be notified of a spool finishing so that I can do a filament change.
Problem:
The stock filament unload is unreliable
You might run out on an external perimeter causing an imperfection in the print
Your filament might run out and you not know
If you are aware you are running out soon then you have to check on your printer every few min to check how much you have left.
Benefits:
