I needed a simple hinge to fit something light I was making, and ended up designing this in OpenSCAD. The SCAD file has parameters making it easy to change sizes - height, depth, thickness, bolt hole size. There is a parameter to choose whether to have the bolt-holes aligned with each other, or staggered to stop bolts clashing.

Version 2 of the scad file introduces another option - to have a square edge on the hinge leaf, or leave the curve as in Version 1.

Also provided are  .stl files for the size I printed.

I used PLA and found it perfectly OK for my project which has a light, acrylic door. If you're making something with a heavier door, this might not be the best for you.

The pin part of the hinge needs to be filled 100% to give enough strength to support the swing of the door.
