Based on John_Sinclair's design: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3723481

I completely re-made this in fusion360 (file included) using Red Logo's high precision raspberry pi 4b model dummy as template (https://gallery.autodesk.com/fusion360/projects/150767/raspberry-pi-4-model-b)

The improvements are:

  • Better fit of the cutout holes, so the board won't moving around inside the case.
  • Bigger microSD cutout for easier access .
  • Longer top screw holders, so the case will be clamped the board securely if screwed in.
  • Longer bottom screw holder, so the board sits on it, better clearance.
  • Bigger intake hole for the 30mm fan
  • All sides (except the usb/Lan port side) has line vent holes.

Same as the original, all parts are friction fit, no screw needed.

The size is the same as the original (the 30mm fan top version)

No cutout for the cam cable, but you can tweak it easily using the fusion 360 file included.

A vertical stand included, work best with angled USB jack.

Tips:

  • Print with lower speed to minimize bulges around the corner because the tolerance is small. 30-40 mm/s is good.
  • No support needed, but the stand has 3 large bridges, make sure your printer capable to do it.
  • Print with flat side down.
  • Put 0 for top and bottom layers
