My attempt to design and print RC Plane Wheels and Tyres (or Tires)
Tyre sizes are 2 and 3 inch outer diameter, in both a wide and narrow format
Rims are also in wide and narrow format, with either 3mm or 4mm holes for axles.
Tyres where done as my first attempt at printing in flexible TPU material, so these first ones in the picture are a bit rough, have changed the design since, which are the files uploaded.
Rims are printed in PLA. These also came out rough as I printed on a very hot day in a metal shed, and made have forgotten to enable the cooling fan.......
You may need glue to hold tyre onto rim.
ALSO; read the printing instructions!!!!!

20% Tyres, 30% Rims
Filament: Any PLA Rims, TPU Tyres Any
Notes:
Print rims with flat side down, no support or brim needed. Use 30% fill and 1.2mm shell, or even 100% solid
Tyres need to be printed with 0.8mm shell, 20% support. Sides are flat for easy printing, no Brim needed. Inner part of the tyre has two different profiles to match the rim. Put the more curved profile at the bottom so you can print without support. Also change overhang setting in your slicer to 70 Deg.Recommend using blue painters tape or glue stick on the print bed, otherwise tyre may not come off the bed without tearing the bed sheet or tyre. I find glue stick works well; use hot water to melt glue and release tyre.
