Great and simple case to print, The centre piece that covers the hole seems to fall out too easily but you made a few versions to cover that, no annoying rattling, quite stiff and difficult to couple the top and bottom pieces though.
Excellent case!
A bit finnicky to get the Pi mounted with screws from the underside (keeping the nuts in place can be challenging), otherwise perfect - and really sleek!
Thanks for the great work
Printed great on my Prusa Mini, 0.4 nozzle with 0.20 preset.
Printed the top.stl and bottom.stl only, the parts snap together, the fit is slightly loose but it wont fall apart.
I used M3 screws to secure the Pi to the bottom housing, the screw took some force and sticks out the bottom, but it is secure.
Filament is FilamentOne Glint Blue PLA
Will this work with M3 screws?
No. Raspberry Pi PCB sized for M2.5 (edited)
@Carter Hi Carter, I actually used M3 screws and they still fit. It seems the Pi threads are around M2.75 sized, so I was able to just barely squeeze them in.
Great Print! it fit like a glove. Thank you @Carter!
I really like this case and it's companion bracket.
Combine with Case Bracket, this is the best solution to mount Raspberry Pi to Prusa i3 MK3. M2.5 is a bit hard to find where I live but the case seems to hold well enough even without screws.
