BTT Smart Filament Sensor Mount

This mount replaces the backplate on a Big Tree Tech Smart Filament Sensor so it can be mounted either horizontally or vertically on an aluminum extrusion. I mounted the sensor to a 3030 extrusion but it will work for other size extrusions too.

The backplate screw holes use what's called a "sacrificial layer" to avoid the need for supports. This is a single .2mm layer that suspends the layers directly above and is easily pushed through with the mounting screws. Print the model as oriented.

This remix moves the mounting bracket higher so the screws can be accessed without removing the PTFE fitting. It also provides more room inside the sensor for the moving parts. The original model can be found here.

The mount is secured to the sensor using M3 x 6mm screws.
