This kerfing plane uses the blade and hardware from Bad Axe Tool Works. The fence posts are standard 8mm linear guide rod as used by many 3d printers. I cut one over-length rod in two with a cutoff disk in a rotary tool and then let the sharp square end cut its way into the zero clearance holes in the body. It also requires a single M5 bolt for the fence clamp.
The plane is usable as is, but I left a rectangular socket on top in order to experiment with different tote (handle) designs.
