Requires two 625 ball bearings, two short M5 screws (length not critical), and one 1/4-20 bolt (choose something with a smooth or rounded head), and a dremel tool and bit.
In use, clamp the tool base in a vise, adjust the 1/4-20 bolt so that the distance between the cutter and the bolt head is just larger than your desired plate thickness, then drill small holes to thickness across the plate by pivoting the dremel arm up and down as you move the plate around.
