DJI Osmo Action Case for Magnetic Mount

This case was tested with the DJI Osmo Action 4, but might work for other versions. It allows you to use the DJI Magnetic mount while still giving protection. I designed this to give more protection while playing paintball and still allow me to quick swap between mounts.

I tested a few different filaments and found Polymaker PolyMax to be the most impact resistant. Tests were done by shooting up to 10 paintballs and checking for damage, at 5-10 feet. The case was empty and not secured. The only material to show no damage was PolyMax.

I recommend .3 layer heights with 100% infill. Support needed for the bottom tab, that holds a heatset insert. The case is slightly oversized to allow for using foam to customize the fit. I put some on the door, near the button hole and on the top near the hinge. The lexan size below is larger then needed. Trim to fit. An exacto knife works great for this.
