In Spool Desiccant Container and Funnel

A nice design for a desiccant container that fits in most spools. It has a hollow core to maximise the exposure to the contained desiccant. Each container takes about 50g of 3-5mm desiccant.

Print the pot at 0.2mm layer height with 2 wall loops and use a height range modifier from 47mm to 60mm to decrease the layer height to 0.1mm and increase the wall loops to 4. This should make sure the thread prints cleanly. No supports needed.

Print the lid upsidedown at 0.1mm with 4 wall loops too. No supports needed.

The funnel was printed upsidedown with 3 wall loops at 0.2mm layer height, but a similar modification to the threaded layers as the pot, 0.1mm layer height and 4 wall loops. Again, no supports needed.

For all three, I had wall speed at 100mm/s to make sure the small holes, threads and overhangs came out cleanly.

Elegoo white matte PLA was used for the containers in the photos.

Also by chance the funnel fits on the bottle that the desiccant was supplied in. It doesn't screw on, but fits over the thread nicely.
