Model discription

  • drag_chain_180
    • Use 25 in my environment. Adjust if too much or too little.
  • drag_chain_clip
    • Use 25.
  • drag-chain-joint-2way-main
    • Use 1. Use two insert nuts for this model.
  • drag-chain-joint-2way-sub
    • Use 1.  Be careful of the left and right sides, as they are not symmetrical. The correct orientation is that the drag_chain_jointparts can be set to the right when the screw holes are facing up.
  • drag-chain-joint-2way-gap_filler
    • Use 1.  It is correct that the direction available when installed can be to the left.
  • drag_chain_jointparts
    • Use 1.   This model connects drag_chain_180 and drag-chain-joint-2way MODELs.
  • drag_chain_adapter_upper
    • Use 1.
  • drag_chain_adapter_lower
    • Use 1. Use insert nuts for this model.Depending on the printing direction, the connection with the DRAG CHAIN may easily crack. Place the model so that the connection part is grounded to the print bed when printing. If you do not want to pass the cable through the hole, you can also cut off a part of the model with pliers or the like.

Recommended materials

ABS, ASA
PETG may work fine, but if you are using an enclosure, I would guess the above. (I made mine in ABS.)

BOM

M3*25 bolt x2 (I use M3*35 in thumbnail photo. But model is designed for 25 mm, so do not question the photo.)
M3*10 bolt x1
M3*4 insertnut x3

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Since the cable chain could only bend a maximum of 90 degrees per part and hit the inner wall when the head moved to the far left, a compatible cable chain model was created by rounding the lower corners so that it could be bent 180 degrees.
