Jigsaw Blade Holder

A DeWalt jigsaw only sits nicely on a shelf if the blade is removed. But when needed, you want the blade handy too.

When you put your jigsaw away, it's nice if it can sit upright on a shelf rather than awkwardly on its side. Modern quick-release blades make this easy to do, but when you want your jigsaw again, you have to hunt down where you left the blade. Maybe you put it away in your tool cabinet or something.

With this handy little blade holder, you can keep the blade with the jigsaw, and it's there when you grab the powertool without looking.  Oh sure, maybe you want a specialty blade sometimes, but for the every-day utility cut, you're probably using the same blade until it's replaced.

This is specific to DeWalt jigsaws, as it uses the cutting fence/guide spot to mount.

You might be able to adapt to your other-brand jigsaw, I don't know how standardized the fence-mounts are (not very, probably).

You can mount it with a bolt if you have the right size handy, but really it's easier to use the (included) push-pin to hold it in place.

It uses hardly any filament (about 3grams) and if you have trouble removing it to use the cutting fence (rare?) you can take it off easily, or even just cut it off with side-cutters and print a new one.

Probably good to print with supports to keep it reasonably clean.  Maybe a brim to keep it in place on the print bed, as it's pretty small and might fall off if your adhesion is iffy.
