Some friends moved into a new house and still have a sheet of paper hanging in the front window with their street number on it. They're looking for an unusual but legible way to display their street address, so I designed these to be hung inside the window, below the sash. The window in question has blinds that will always be closed, so that will make a perfect backdrop for these 3D printed numerals.
I printed mine at 0.3mm layer heights with 3 perimeter shells in PLA and they work just fine. You should print them face down on the bed, and the hanger should be printed flat as well, with the screw tab pointing up.
If you don't like the choices I've made, the provided OpenSCAD file allows you to customize your own sizes and font by setting a few controlling parameters at the top of the file.
If you prefer, the hangers can be flipped upside down and used as stems for mounting the numerals from below. I haven't included the STLs for that configuration, but you can generate them from the OpenSCAD.
