I'd seen some people express a concern that the top row of a GOEWS grid was not anchored at the top and would start to pull away under load.
I realized that a very simple solution would be to create a grub screw that had the cutout for attaching a standard mounting screw.
I started with a thread-only section, cut out the inset for the mounting screw, then added notches at the top to make it easier to screw in. The notches are rounded and are intended to allow turning with any standard coin (any coin less than 2mm thick should work).
I print with 0.2mm layers and supports enabled in the orientation provided.
Both .step and .stl versions have been provided, along with the FreeCAD source file.
Just print and then screw into the top row of your GOEWS grid, using a coin for easiest installation. Then secure to the wall with a standard mounting screw.
