two different versions for pc4-m6 and pc4-m10 connectors.

between the two, pc4-m6 is better option as it keeps the tube in place in both directions by itself. if using pc4-m10, screw the connector in until about 2-3mm sticks out of bottom then screw on the bottom cap/stopper. make sure the tube is centered on the hole so filament doesn't get pinched.

notes:

supposedly some pc4-m10 connectors may use a different thread type. the ones i got (cheap Aliexpress stuff) have real M10 threads. that's how they are modeled here.

PLA/PETG is fine. print the lid with TPU if you have it. would make the lid even more air tight.

use some tight fitting PTFE tube cap like these to get as air tight as possible: https://www.printables.com/model/1102574-ptfe-tube-cap-with-filament-holder-slight-makeover

check out this drybox designed for the same container. i like these better than most “filament reel sitting on top of the rollers" design. https://www.printables.com/model/1102515-filament-drybox-reremix-designed-for-plastic-house

update: 1/4/2025:

slight modification to eliminate the need for any support when printing filament ports. make sure to set your slicer to use to .2mm layer height.
