@Patsprints_279430 did you ever get it t work on the sv08? ive been trying for 2 weeks and can get to the point everything works but machine wont home correctly and just slams into the top of the frame
@JamesSparks_2734601 I got it to start a print multicolor didn't function correctly. Currently waiting on an eMMC reader to put the sv08 on mainline klipper and then give it another go. I was running into more issues after I would try to get one problem solved and it being on sovol klipper seems to be the problem
@Patsprints_279430 my machine is on mainline klipper and i can get everything to work except the home. when i home the x and y it works fine but when i try to home z it either slams into the top ore the bed depending on if the light on the probe is on or off. on and it will slam into the top and off it will gouge into the bed and if its just above where the head can go down and light goes off it slams into the bed then the top. idk man seems like a piece o junk to me so fat
@JamesSparks_2734601 definitely not great. Did you change the probe input on printer.cfg to the cphead? Should be able to run the endstop test on the machine tab with nothing in front of it then put some metal in front of the probe and check if it's working corectly. If you're still having trouble after that I can share my printer.cfg but it's definitely not working
@Patsprints_279430 i did. at this point im just trying to geta working printer again and have installed mainline klipper and the factory head back onto the machine. problem is it set endstops on x and y just fine but seems to be going the wrong direction when trying to home the z axis. if i put the gantry and print head close enough to the build plate to have the sensor activate it will smash into the bed. if i set it high enough that it doesnt activate it goes all the way to the top and smashes into the top of the frame
@Patsprints_279430 so i got mainline klipper working with all the coprint software installed and it homes x and y but keeps giving me an error for probe when trying to home z. also i got the stock printer working normally without the coprint again. no when i home the z with coprint i get the error and gantry moves up 10mm
@JamesSparks_2734601 There's a command to disable the need to home before you can move. Can't find it right now, but I would try that and then verify the Z is moving in the right direction.
Next guess would be something with the Z probe point / axis limits. Had a bunch of problems getting mine to home/ QGL with the coprint. Mostly the X/Y lengths and Z probe locations
@JamesSparks_2734601 ive decided to get an eddy probe. screw these inductive probes lol. ill have it monday and should have a working coprint modified sv08. fingers crossed that fixes the issue. its like the probe on the coprint head isnt recognized
