Multiple parts to allow installation of CoPrint on an SV08 Printer

I have made a bunch of updates to this printer, and these are the parts I had to print to mount everything.

Absolutely love the model and the finished look. Printed in Polymaker Purple PETG, and Hatchbox Midnight Purple PETG accents.

Looks nice - thanks for the compliments!

@JohnSC_2229381 really great work on it, I am loving the vibe change with this upgrade. Thank you so much, John!

My Co-print Chromahead experience has been a nightmare. After a year's wait for this "plug-and-play" device, I've faced technical problems, unresponsive support, and zero regard for my business.The Chromahead is flawed. The probe malfunctions, making my printer useless. Troubleshooting with Co-print's support was fruitless. It's unacceptable for a flagship product to have such a defect. Their configuration files were also a mess – outdated, incomplete, and wrong. This forced a tedious back-and-forth with support, wasting time on fixes that didn't work. A company promising seamless integration should provide functional files.Customer service was appalling. Co-print's support was consistently unresponsive. Replies took days, sometimes weeks, showing blatant disregard for my urgent needs. Support agents, though apologetic, were clearly unable to help. Generic advice and ignored previous correspondence revealed a lack of training and a serious support system problem. After weeks of failed troubleshooting, they agreed to replace the Chromahead, but then went silent. Despite requests for a tracking number, I've heard nothing. This shows a complete lack of transparency.My Kickstarter experience isn't unique. Comments show similar frustrations: delayed shipping, poor communication, and inadequate support. Co-print overpromised and underdelivered, leaving customers abandoned.Co-print's handling of this is unacceptable. Their failure to provide functional hardware, competent support, and basic communication is a betrayal of trust. I strongly advise caution when considering Co-print products. Until they drastically improve product quality and customer service, they're not a reliable option. This two-month ordeal has cost me time and money, and Co-print's silence only adds to the frustration. Their apologies are meaningless without action. I'm left with a broken product, wasted time, and profound disappointment. Don't make the same mistake.

@EricCabral_1297424 Eric - A couple of comments.

1) I have nothing to do with CoPrint except that I bought a kit from them as well.

2) The Sovol SV08 and CoPrint were both bought by me as first generation first shipment products. As such, I expected them to not work well out of the box. They both met my expectations. I cannot understand why anyone would expect a newly developed product in this industry to be usable as a production unit for a business on day one.

3) CoPrint is a small handful of developers in Turkey using contract manufacturers in China to create a product on a extremely low cost basis that is compatible with as many printers as possible. This was always going to be a challenge and require the user base to help mature the product and its operation.

4) Many people have contributed to making this work. Join the Facebook group where there are many people willing to assist.

5) Please take your continuing discussion elsewhere. I cannot help here. This is not the place for this discussion.

Thank you for these, I received my coprint yesterday and am starting to put things together. I am curious: what are you controlling with that board between the power supplies?

@RyanVandeWat_1099031 You had me puzzled for a minute. Currently there are 2 boards between the power supplies. The one you can see the top of in the picture on this page is the BTT Octopus board that is actually running the printer itself - the extruder and motion system, filtration and exhaust, etc. There is a smaller one off camera below that that is controlling the chamber heater temperature.

@JohnSC_2229381 one problem with the mounts. they are twice as thick as the coprint mounts and the screws are not long enough to mount the motors

@JamesSparks_2734601 Thanks for the comment. I missed making that point in the instructions, and have updated it now with a note.

@Patsprints_279430 did you ever get it t work on the sv08? ive been trying for 2 weeks and can get to the point everything works but machine wont home correctly and just slams into the top of the frame

@JamesSparks_2734601
There's a command to disable the need to home before you can move. Can't find it right now, but I would try that and then verify the Z is moving in the right direction.

Next guess would be something with the Z probe point / axis limits.
Had a bunch of problems getting mine to home/ QGL with the coprint. Mostly the X/Y lengths and Z probe locations

@JamesSparks_2734601 ive decided to get an eddy probe. screw these inductive probes lol. ill have it monday and should have a working coprint modified sv08. fingers crossed that fixes the issue. its like the probe on the coprint head isnt recognized

@ValerieMoore_2024393 should remove this hole and fix the other one so its gos all the way threw.

@ValerieMoore_2024393 ill fix the file and send it to you. this one is all out of wac. offset looks like 15.73742 mm ill make it 16mm (edited)

Could you share your clipper config files that you got coprint to work with the SV08? Thanks

Although, I replaced the induction probe with a btt eddy, so you'll have to change a few things. (edited)
