Window exhaust for 100mm duct, with rain slats

I liked this model, but I live in a country with rain and I'm not using this for aircon purposes but rather air filtration output. So, I added slats to stop, or at least reduce, the amount of rain that can get in.

I'd suggest ASA for this, as being a partially-outdoor model it will be exposed to regular sunlight. ABS is doable but will degrade slightly over time. To my knowledge no other common materials are suitable, they will either soften in sunlight temperatures (PLA), significantly degrade in UV light, or may contain stuff you don't want to leech into the environment (eg polycarbonate containing BPA).
