Caution - Use at your own risk. If not done carefully, you can brick your machine.
BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO USE - Ensure you are already running the stock 1.0.6 firmware before installation. After downloading your zip file, check the zip file's MD5 hash against the MD5 hashes I posted below to ensure that you don't have a corrupted file:
4x4 - 4 Probe Firmware: bf9644e18d6dbdde567c8e1a91b1a61b
4x4 - 6 Probe Firmware: 9f902fbe1c41fdad19182dca6cab6cdb
4x4 - 8 Probe Firmware: 753d51577af12e1a6bff6600547b290f
7x7 - 4 Probe Firmware: 72ef22f5beba7728efe6edd0e3f6ce7c
This is a small configuration change for the stock Ender 3 V3 SE firmware v1.0.6.
Personally, I use the 8 Probe version as I've found the most reliability with this one but feel free to try the other two as well.
Installation is very easy and quick. Instructions are included in the .zip files but feel free to use the official Creality instructions at https://www.creality.com/pages/download-ender-3-v3-se
UPDATE (10/23/24):
Required Hardware - SD Card or Micro SD with adapter.
TROUBLESHOOTING TIP - if the machine is not taking to the re-format and you’ve already tried renaming the file, you may need to reformat the SD card and then try again. The card format should be Fat32 with 4096 allocation.
