Description

PDF

I wanted a low friction spool ring for using with my 3DQF PLA filament that was both strong and as narrow as I could get away with.

It uses an inner (37mm diameter) and outer (82mm) rim and has four spokes for additional strength (see the STL file for a better look at the design) and to keep the amount of required filament and print time down.

The inner rim fits perfectly over my Creality Ender 3V3SE/KE spool holders but should fit over similar sized holders.

Print using 2 perimeters and 20% infill (I used cross-hatch).

Overall material used is just under 50gms for a set of two and on my Bambu Lab A1 Mini it takes 1 Hour 21 Minutes (including ABL) to print.

I've attached the STL file, the FreeCAD file and the 3MF & GCODE files generated on my Bambu Lab A1 Mini.
