This is a modular design of my previous monitor stand. The previous design had the leg component printed as one piece. Additionally I used a rounded strut slot design which did not yield great prints and tolerance issues with the curves. This is a rework of that design where I use a dovetail which prints a lot better and allows for the uninterrupted side to be placed on the bed for a better overall look.
Additionally I added dovetailed modular legs. So different size legs can be printed as desired. The advantage of breaking up the leg component is that individual parts can be printed independently and so a failure is a lot less costly - instead of throwing away a whole piece like I previously did, individual components can be scrapped e.g. a leg or a base.
