Am I supposed to be able to screw it down tight? It took a bit of force to get the m5 socket head through the key hole, so maybe tightening isn't important? (edited)

@bnorick how your bolt goes into the key hole would depend on the diameter of its head. The general usage idea is that you can loosely screw in the bolt, insert it into the key hole freely then turn the assembly to tighten it in place (note the bolt head will eventually slip so you can't get as tight of a hold as with a screwdriver but you shouldn't need to). I did include the CAD files so feel free to modify it to M4 if that fits better for you.
Just had this printed on Treat Stock. Magnets are great. 10x3 fits perfectly. Also M5x8mm screw and nut also works great... but the "socket head cap" is too tall to fit any of my surge protectors. Gonna look into other thinner heads. Like a "countersunk socket cap".
Is there any information on what the maximum thickness of a notebook it can hold?
I've found these to be super helpful with this full-rack I'm building out. Have printed a dozen to assist with wire-management.
@wvalko_307292 happy to hear ))
do you have a stl file from it ?
My husband and I printed this peg board for my quilting supplies- I love it because it sort of looks like a quilt itself.
Printed using Polymaker - White Marble PLA and PolyLite Rose silk PLA (which took a lot of tuning, we hadn’t used it before)
Love the model and the fact that you've included the Fusion files! ❤ The arches you designed were too big to fit in the rail under my desk and I only had 10x2 magnets so I quickly made the changes and sent the file to my printer. A bit over hour later I have 10 of them attached under my desk. Magnets seem to be holding well with the press-fit.
I uploaded the remix, hopefully someone will find it handy: https://www.printables.com/model/910822-small-magnetic-cable-organizer (edited)
@IroesStrongar_122759 amazing hope it was easy enough to modify))
@Edward couldn't have been easier. Had the magnets on hand already.
Thanks for sharing the files and saving me the trouble of making an inferior version of this, haha.
Is there a chance someone can run this through CFD? :)
@ArthurS88_481096 wow love the colors
@Edward I had an orange spool bottom to finish ahah
Looks great, will give it a go on my next project, cheers.
