Nice!

Made a slight modification and sliced out some mid section and removed the middle "raiser circle" to get it as small as possible for more head room with thermoses but still give me a nice flat section and a little spill protection. Love it! Thank you!

After printing I carved the cone into a cylinder to have the spring fit snug like my original piece. Taking another look at your great instructions I probably didn't need to do that. Anyways great design and thank you for uploading it.
Only thing that is different is that I can't close the lid without pressed the button down but I will take that trade for a working lid!
@Danthe3DPrintingDad
Your STL file was the 2nd thing I printed on my printer in PLA and default settings. I didn't modify anything and it is working perfectly! Being a rookie, I didn't take a picture of it before I installed it.
I was thinking I should modify the cone where the spring goes so the spring would slide all the way up to the main bracket...but I didn't, and it is working great.
Thank you!
@JasonVanRoey_2671790 I You are so welcome; I'm so happy it worked! Yeah, that cone was a compromise to make it more printable without supports, but I was pleased it held the spring well.
Pretty cool model, especially the print in place hoop! The whole thing was a bit too large for me, so I scaled down the backboard a bit (maybe too much) and it printed great! Thx for the model (edited)
Helps support and align the middle gear. I did put some lithium grease on the space to reduce friction and increase longevity. Thanks for the addition.
Printed smoothly and installed OK - I had to slide the rear assembly off the printed 2020 part in order to get the nuts to slide in.
I put some white lithium grease on it to help the slipping surfaces. It could probably even be a touch taller, for my particular build, to provide a bit more support.
I've fitted this to the top of my coffee grinder. I give it a couple of pumps after grinding and get about 2.5 grams out of it. So now my brew is all made from fresh coffee whereas before about 15% of it stale coffee from the previous brew.
Thanks for a great model.
@TheRealGarethEvans 😲 I never even thought about other applications for this. As a fellow coffee-lover here, I enthusiastically approve!
