AMS PTFE GUIDE Postion Securer

Overview

This model is designed to secure the AMS PTFE Guide and prevent it from slipping off the AMS motor when the filament runs out. If you’ve had issues with the guide being rolled into the spool, this solution will help keep everything in place, avoiding disruptions in your print jobs.

Design Purpose

The position securer clamps around the PTFE Guide and fits securely on the feeder button. Thanks to its design, it is held in place by the top cover of the AMS, ensuring that it won’t slip off during operation.

Installation

Please note that installation might be a bit tricky, but it is achievable without applying excessive force. Once installed, the position securer will stay firmly in place, providing reliable performance during filament changes.
