I bought a 7-inch “Display-H” from aliexpress to use as a display for my home assistant server monitoring dashboard, and then I made this mount to place the display on the inside of the server rack door, attached to the door frame so the monitor floats behind the glass.

The design makes use of the same screws that came with the display, but I put four holes instead of just the two that it came with so you can add two of your own screws if you want more security. There is a gap between the support arm and the lcd panel back so you can route your cables underneath it. Watch out if your ethernet cable is too thick as you may be unable to bend it properly and might consider switching to a thinner or flat type cable (See the last photo for how I put my ethernet cable).

The mount attaches to the inside of the door along the top metal part with a 20mm thick or similar strip of strong double sided tape.

The door is an IKEA Glassvik, mounted on the square besta unit, with a pair of server rails on the inside to hold all my networking equipment, servers, etc. There's more info on using Besta as a server rack on Reddit's r/homelab community, or on youtube

For printing, I used PLA, but you may consider something like PETG with better heat resistance depending on how hot your server rack gets. I'm still testing mine but will update this recommendation if I encounter any problems in the future.
