U-Pol Raptor Bottle to HVLP Paint Gun Adapter

This adapter mounts the U-Pol Raptor bed liner paint bottle (711mL) to an HVLP spray gun. The Raptor product is intended to be sprayed from a suction style spray gun- in which the bottle is mounted under the spray gun and a tube sucks the paint out. I wanted to use my HVLP gun which would require inverting the bottle. 

This adapter threads to the bottle which has DIN 6063-1 S40.5/41 neck finish. You might need to find a rubber gasket to ensure a good seal to the bottle. I included a 5mm wide flange in the design of the model where a gasket can seal the adapter to the bottle.

On the other side of the adapter is M16x1.5mm female threads to mount to the HVLP spray gun manufactured by Husky. From a brief peruse of online retailers, HVLP spray gun cups often use M16x1.5mm thread. 

For use of the paint bottle, after you have added color tint, and the right volume of hardener, you shake the mixture for 2 minutes. Then, remove the product cap and thread onto the adapter. Invert the bottle and puncture a hole in the bottom of the bottle to ensure flow of the paint through the gun. 

I used the S40.5/41 from @DJ_94635 to build an adapter fitting onto a Husky brand HVLP paint spray gun.
