Displate Magnetic Mount Using Command Strips!

This is a model I whipped up after a move to avoid shelling out money for replacement magnets from Displate and also make use of some magnets I had lying around. It uses a dovetailed Command strip holder part that mates into a housing with magnets fastened through superglue for a simple mounting solution that can be repositioned without discarding the magnets! Depending on the strength of magnets used and the size/weight of the art to be displayed, one or two assemblies may be be necessary. Adding a layer of thin adhesive backed foam over the magnet surface may also help to protect both the magnets and the art.
