I want to mount my Mikrotik HAP AC3 to a Multiboard wall. After doing several attempts at creating a whole new bracket replacing the original Mikrotik bracket, I found it very difficult to print with a Multiboard Snap and flexibility to snap onto the Mikrotik device unless using a lot of print support material. So I figured it was better to reuse the original Mikrotik bracket with an addon for Multiboard.

Although I could have just put a Multiboard Snap with M3 Nut on the backside of the bracket, this addon gives more stability and a better angle against the wall.

I have two sizes of brackets for my Mikrotik devices, so I made an addon for both of them:

These two might also fit other Mikrotik devices, for instance I think the HAP AC3 and HAP AX3 devices have the exact same bracket.

Mounting

  • 1 original Mikrotik bracket that comes with the device
  • 1 M3 Nut
  • 1 M3 Screw
  • 1 printed addon of the size that matches your original bracket
  • A Multiboard tile (see multiboard.io)

Print instructions

  • 0.20mm Quality
  • 3 Perimeters on Verical shells
  • Support on build plate
  • Print at the face of the backside of the bracket to use less support (holes down, snap up). Note that it has an angle on the backside, so the whole backside should be flat on the print bed.
  • Filament: PETG or PLA (I've only tested with PETG)
  • 15% grid infill

The m3f file contains both addons on the correct print angle. Remove the one you don't need before slicing.
