Inspired by the visualizer for the Sprite Extruder and the Taurus Cooling duct visualizer design, I fashioned my own.

Button w stem is for use with the Taurus Cooling Duct V-5 and Creality Sprite Extruder

Button w stem-short is for uses with the standard Sprite Extruder configuration

For dual colors using a single color printer.

** Set Z Hop Height to 0.8mm (the inlay is 0.6mm, this ensures the nozzle “hops” over the print)

Print the inlay(s) first.

Print the inlay(s) upside down and move the inlays away from where the nozzle does it’s auto-homing because you’ll leave the inlays on the bed and will print the bottom w stem(-short) at the same location, over the top of the inlay(s).  I normally print one button at a time.  I assign a location to print.  Example: x=100, y=100, z=0, so I know where exactly to print the button.

Print the inlay and ensure to keep hotbed temp on after the print finishes, you don’t want the inlay losing the bed adhesion.

Upload the button in the slicer and position the button over the inlay and ensure the button is originated the same as the inlay rotate the view and look from under the bed, now delete the inlay and slice the button.  Change the filament  color.

**Ensure the Z Hop is still set to the height of 0.8mm (the inlay is 0.6mm, this ensures the nozzle “hops” over the inlay).

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

I used my most commonly used nozzle size and designed a “coin” as the visualizer.
