In the details you mention using PC4-M10 couplers with the M14 plugs. The hole in the plug is much smaller than the adapters. Are there variations of the M14 plugs with larger holes to screw the adapters into?

"Tip: If you're using the external spool function I recommend using the M14 with PC4-M10 or PC4-M10 couplers both inside and outside the enclosure, then you can just disconnect the PTFE tubes and lift out the whole Python AMS assembly for easy maintenance"

@tbgd_1653305 It's possible you have the larger PC4-M10 plugs. Confirm your version first then print the correct file:

m14-pc4-m10-1.03.3mf
Or
m14-pc4-m6-1.03.3mf

@humebeam m14-pc4-m10-1.03.3mf worked perfectly. I had purchased the kit from VoxelPLA and had missed that file when I was looking to see if it existed already. Thanks for the help and great projects!

Edit: And I just realized they had included 2 of these already. I had misplaced them and didn't realize I already had them. Now I have extras :). (edited)

A few things I'd change but the enclosure works well to keep the AMS clean and quiet. I bought two Poly maker dryers and put them on the back, with plugs on the front.

does anyone know where i can buy the panels in the uk ?

Question. I'm having a problem with the spools/gears spinning too much when printing. I tightened the screws holding the rollers/gears till there is some resistance. This works for a while, then it loosens up again.
Is there anything else I need to look at? I'm sure I'm missing something here.
Thanks in advance.

@humebeam thanks for the info. Honestly, I hesitate to print the front modules as I only bought all this from Voxel a couple weeks ago. Looking at it vs version 1.04 I got version 1.03 in my order. I may contact them and see what I need to do in order to get the front modules only. I'm not set up to print any but PLA/PETG atm.

@LBrooks_1370168 Check with them, I'm sure they can help you out. :)

I love this! I was about to start the build on my second one and 1.04 came out. If I understand correctly, the large front mounts are all the same and they all have an RFID slot.

Is it possible to avoid drilling a hole in the enclosure if you remix one of the enclosure cutouts to fit ptfe tube or would the spacing cause issues? (edited)

@RandomUser_1871287 You could go through the cutouts, yes. I believe someone posted a remix for the covers that allows passing of the ptfe tube there but can't remember if it was here or on MakerWorld.

Nice enclosure. This is first of two so far

@BeeFarm_2209345 That's awesome. Where did you get the panel with the extra cutout for the hygrometer mount?

@Fuzzylog1c_2266631 I made the panel and hygrometer adapter. It’s on printable.

Hi everyone, I've built two of these units with the corresponding Python ams. I've attached two of the polydryers per unit. My question is, has anyone been able to get more than 38, 39 degrees celcius of heat in the unit from these two dryers working on the highest level ? That's the maximum I can attain :(

@humebeam That makes sense. I had only one and had PLA in the AMS. It only got to about 30C. I've asked for another Polydryer for Christmas. So, regardless of the filament type, two running on the high setting will run around 55, so all types of filaments can be put in there.

There doesn't appear to be a model for the bottom front left with threaded inserts.

@racinrandall_1634282 Gotcha. Yes it seems there was an upload issue where two bottom parts were duplicated and the front left was indeed missing, fixed now. Thanks!

I noticed that the threaded center rods have big 26x50mm hollow voids. Have you ever considered putting big weights (e.g. 1" stainless bar stock) in there to keep the spools weighed down, and do you think that would help?

while I'm waiting for the case walls to become available in Europe, does anyone know if the desiccant boxes I printed also work in the python case? https://makerworld.com/en/models/491485#profileId-405012
