Template for screw in car sockets. I have created USB C to USB A connector to connect to my car console and an enclosure for a charger. Both are now conveniently in my car's dashboard.
Get the template step file, add the holes for the ports you need and print. Also print a nut and a washer. Drill 28 mm diameter hole, put the screw in and secure with the washer and the nut.
The two sockets I have created are designed around specific components I have had. I am adding files for the USB C to USB A in case you can secure the same adapter (GOOBAY 45400). Proceed at your own risk. It is necessary to cut some of the enclosure off (see pictures). I glued the adapter in with hot glue. The plate is attached with two 2mm screws.
