I saw a video online where someone gave their cat a cardboard laptop so that it would leave them alone.
I wanted to try this theory, but instead of building a laptop out of cardboard like a normal person, I designed and printed this.
It has a fully working hinge and the laptop screen image can be changed by sliding in an insert.
This was printed using the MMU2S, but it could also be printed fully in one color if you don't have one. In this case, you would have to print out the laptop screen to a piece of paper and glue it onto the sliding insert. If you want to go that route, I included an SVG file that you can print.
If you have an MMU be sure to print the laptop screen graphic with a 0.25mm nozzle. A 0.4mm nozzle won't be able to reproduce all the fine details.
Maybe I will add some additional screen inserts later, but for now, there are only these two.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
