Like many other users of this printer, I also did not want to scratch my top clear panel with the ptfe tube while printing.

This model is designed for a newer revision of the Q1 Pro (The one with the bed endstops) since I believe the older versions had a different size panel on the top.

I printed with PETG since I couldn't print with ABS until I installed the riser. Settings I used were default PETG settings for the Qidi Q1 Pro in Orcaslicer but with 15% Gyroid infill.

You don't need to use the separate print files unless you lose a piece or break it. (They also aren't oriented properly by default)

Print the batch STL file instead. Everything you need is already arranged to fit on the Q1 Pro bed. (4 riser pieces, 4 edge clamps, 4 corner clamps)

Assembly:

  1. Insert the 12 M3 nuts into the slots of the 4 riser pieces. (use a drop of superglue if they keep falling out)
  2. Remove the screw hole support material on the 4 edge clamps and 4 corner clamps, preferably with a 3.5mm drill bit.
  3. Locate the dot markings on the bottom of each riser piece so you can identify them.
  4. Join the ends of the riser pieces marked with 1 dot using one of the edge clamps and 2 M3x20 screws.
  5. Do the same for the pieces marked with 3 dots on one of their ends.
  6. Install on the printer such that the edge clamps slide onto the lip where clear panel usually sits. The edges marked with 1 dot face towards the front of the printer and the 3 dot edges face towards the rear.
  7. Screw in the remaining 2 edge clamps and the 4 corner clamps.

Overall I'm happy with how this riser looks and how sturdy it feels. I hope you like too!
