(NOW with added "EZ Print" STL to print as one part)
This isn't the first design for an MMCX connector to be added to KSC75, but this is the best design for an MMCX connector for the KSC75. I designed this specifically because of my dissatisfaction with the current design that sticks the connector far out and straight down and restricts the hinge on the driver by a significant amount. My design seeks to fix all of those problems. The angled connector solves 3 issues: comfort, leverage, and pull direction. With the old design when you pull on the cable it pulls it straight down which causes pressure on the top most part of you ear, with the new design pulling downward now rotates the ear-clip as you pull which distributes the load across the back of the ear rather than at a singular point. The problem I had with leverage was specifically when I went to lay down in these as KSC75 are my primary headphones to sleep in. with the old style connector I wouldn't even consider laying on my side with a headphone between me and my pillow because I was afraid of breaking the mmcx connectors, with my new design there's no worry about that since the connector is no longer jutting out at such a harsh angle. The comfort of these compared to the old design is unmatched, with the hinge no longer restricted by the ring on the old model, the KSC75 can freely fit flush against your ear.
