A filament spool roller intended for the tight space of smaller cereal boxes. This design utilizes two 608rs bearings aligned at the center of the rollers, instead of the ends. This enables the roller to fit into narrower spaces while still being wide enough for a 1 KG filament spool. There is also a hole in the center of the base to make room for the nipple, caused by the injection molding process, which is often at the bottom center of cereal boxes.
Because the filament spool is balanced on the roller there might be a small amount of wobble as the spool rotates. This doesn't affect the performance of the print.
No tools or additional parts are required for assembly.
Update 2024-06-18: Added rollers of varying lengths ranging from 66mm to 75mm. Also added step files for the base and 71mm roller.
Update 2024-09-01: I've stress tested the original 71mm roller with ten spools (over 10KG in weight) of filament stacked on top. Photo posted. My hand in the photo is keeping the stack from falling over since it's essentially impossible to balance more than three spools.
