Snap-fit case designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi 5 + low-profile cooler.
- While the case is snap-fit and the Pi is kept snug inside without extra hardware, M2.5 screws between 8mm and 18mm in length can be used to further secure the two halves together.
- Full clearance and support for low-profile coolers.
- Designed with as much strength and airflow in mind as possible when considering the 3D printing process, while maintaining an optimised print.
- Snaps and stays together firmly, but can be released by squeezing the sides of the top half to release from the bottom.
- This case does allow access to the SD card slot, the reset button, USB-C power, both micro HDMI ports, the USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports and the ethernet port. It also has a cutout to see the status LED.
- This case does not support any modular HATs, easy access to the GPIO pins or large coolers; it is intended to be a simple solution to protect the stock Pi + low-profile cooler.
Printing Guidelines:
- This model is designed to be printed with a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height and at least 3 wall loops; you may adjust this to your liking, but the snap-fit may not work as well.
- No supports or extra adhesion is required as long as the models are printed with the flat side oriented on the build plate. The small bridge over the SD card slot cutout does not require support, but can be used if you prefer. If you do, be sure to enable support from build plate only, or use custom supports.
