Klemco E3D V6 Mount System for Orbiter

Motivations

There is currently no mount to attach the orbiter v2.0 to the V6 E3D mount for the creality ender 3 made by Klemco while also using the dual 5015 fan mounts. (Product being referenced: https://www.klemco.net/e3d-compatible-multi-mount-creality/ ).

I have designed an adapter to attach the Klemco v6 mount to the orbiter v2.0 with the native mount holes and hardware provided by the Klemco v6 kit while allowing the dual 5015 fan mounts to be used. I have also added a 40mm hot-end fan mount and a mount for the creality BLTouch ABL probe (CR-Touch).

Print Settings:

You must use high heat deflection material such as ABS, PC, ASA, PA6, PA12, PEEK, etc.

40% infill (isotropic like gyroid, 3d hex, etc.)

4 walls

5 top surface layers

5 bottom surface layers

(Voron settings essentially)

Post-Print Processing:

• 2x M2x4mm bolts (for ABL attachment to mount)
• 2x M2x6mm heat set inserts (for ABL mount)
• 4x M3x4mm bolts (for hot end cooling fan)
• 4x M3x4mm heat set inserts (for hot end cooling fan)
• 2x M2x6mm heat set inserts (for hot end cooling fan mount to orbiter mount)
• 2x M2x16mm bolts (for hot-end cooling fan mount to orbiter mount) 

Remixing and Modifications:

The dimensions are for heat set inserts but you can modify the files to allow for self tapping.

All solidworks files are included, feel free to modify the models using the equations panel. If you do not have solidworks I highly recommend onshape, it is a solidworks like CAD software with a modern, github-like, version control system.
