Material : 

The filament needs to be food safe, chemically tough and heat resistant enough to withstand boiling water. Therefore I recommend using NonOilen filament by Fillamentum.

Important! Do not use PLA or PETG and especially not ABS or ASA! Any material, that doesn’t say explicitly it is food safe must be considered not food safe and might give off hazardous chemicals into your coffee! If you want to be sure, clean your nozzle before using NonOilen or just use a dedicated one.

Testing: 

I added some optional test models to check out before printing.

1. Thread test 
2. Surface test (I strongly recommend using ironing on all surfaces)
3. Print Settings: 

• small layer height
• the part should be solid with no cavities.
• ironing enabled on all surfaces.

Hygiene:

If you use 3D-Lac, glue or similar, make sure to thoroughly clean it off the model with max. 70% IPA.
