Case for an 8x1 MAX7219 display powered by a ESP32 Lolin C3 Mini.
Build with retention fit for the display and alignment pins for the top case, a cut out for the ESP32 USB-C connector. Almost all USB-A to USB-C cables should work because I used an Switch Pro Controller one as a test fit, these are notoriously big.
I integrated this display with home assistant using ESPHome to program and display things on this screen.
Printing:
The print is on the large side and just a bit too big to fit diagionally on my Ender 3V2 Neo. You can use the models where they are cut in half. It is recommended to at least print the bottom fully, you can do this by using the angled model. Also make sure to force your slicer to generate enough supports, mine used them sparingly and I got some imperfections at the end of the print.
