CoolNamesAllTaken did a great job designing this piece, but I didn't need it as a light switch-- I needed it for a little boy that wanted one as a toy. The tolerances on the original were WAY too tight, and if the piece isn't mounted on a light switch, then it doesn't stay together. I needed it to slide freely and not come apart.
I adjusted the slide to have more clearance to fit in the body. I also added a channel on one side and a hole for an M3x16 screw on the body to lock the slide into the body. A cap head M3 bolt should thread into the hole.
If you would still like to mount it to a wall, I would recommend doublestick tape or 3M Command strips.
