This case is designed to hold a Pi Zero W or or Pi Zero 2 W and Pi Camera 2 or Pi Camera 3. There is only one connection – the power cable that plugs in from underneath. Everything else happens over wi-fi. There’s a ¼” hole for tripod mounting. (The ball mount in the image is not part of it. It's just one I had sitting around.) It's as compact as possible, measuring 36mm x 36mm x 115mm.
I’ve published 2 versions – one with ventilation and one without. You might want to use the ventilated case for the Pi Zero 2 W, but the original Pi Zero W seems happy without vents. The unvented version might even be somewhat weather resistant (but I’m not promising anything).
The two files are .3mf files of the complete enclosure. The lens hood is a separate body, so you can choose if you want to include it or not. Load the file into your slicer as a single object and simply print the case with or without the lens hood. Then import the base only separately.
The Pi and camera slip into the case and the base is clipped on – no tools required.
