Enhance your ESP32-VROOM-32 project with this custom-designed case that allows for easy USB power sharing across stacked modules. Simply solder a 2-pin single row header socket to the GND and 3.3V pins (I sourced sockets with a 2.54mm pitch from AliExpress). Use 3mm threaded rods, cut to the necessary length to secure the modules together.

My cases were printed at a 0.2mm layer height print with Uzy Galaxy Black PLA with 15% infill. No support is needed if oriented correctly.

The feasible number of stacked boards varies according to each module’s power consumption. For applications like the Nerdminer V2 project I have limited stacks to 5 modules to maintain safe temperatures and reliable power circuitry performance. With a strong enough USB PSU larger stacks are possible, provided that power and temperature conditions are monitored closely. For my use case a stack of 10 modules worked, but got too hot for my liking.
