This GMRS antenna is constructed using a 3d printed form and easy to acquire material from a hardware store. The antenna has better than 11 dBi gain in the forward and rear directions and will aid your handheld GMRS radio with an external antenna attachment hit distant repeaters. A youtube video is available with detailed instructions for construction and performance theory obtained by antenna modeling software:
