This is a tool used for hanging and focusing theatrical/stage lighting fixtures. It includes holes for each of the 3 most common sizes encountered on c-clamps; including the square pan bolt, square 5/8 bolt, and the hex ¾ bolt. There are additional holes in the middle that work well with the wing nuts sometimes encountered on o-clamps.
The design is loosely based around a tool I carry on a regular basis, with some changes made to (hopefully) make it last longer as a 3d printed part. That being said, it is a plastic wrench and I don't expect it to hold up anywhere near as well as a metal part. I use these primarily to hand to volunteers when I don't expect to get them returned at the end of the day.
I'm still experimenting with the best settings to use, but even my initial test at 35% infill with 4 walls in PLA was able to provide plenty of torque on the bolts without any noticeable deformation.
Note: on both of my printers, the holes are a bit tight. You might want to scale the model up ever so slightly to give yourself a looser fit, though it will likely “self clearance” with use.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
