A pottery friend wanted to make holders for his kiln firing cones rather than purchasing them.
I modelled up a mould/stamp/negative of firing cone holders that hold the cones at the correct angle for use in kiln firings when you make them yourself.
I've included a few sizes in the one file including a stamp to suit the firing cones at their actual size, and oversized moulds that allow for 5%, 10%, and 15% shrinkage. Simply delete the ones you don't want to print in your slicer. I've included embossed text on the back of the stamps to identify which one is which (will show up in your slicer).
Feedback from my friend was that the holders work well and hold the cones at the correct angle:
The holder at the rear with the three cones in it is the holder made using my stamp/mould. Compares very well to other commercially sourced ready-made holders in the foreground.
I printed the set of stamps from PETG with three perimeters and 20% cubic infill.
