In my case I was trying to remove the thick clear insulation around the wires that I am reusing from some strippped direct burial 14 AWG wire.

Adjust Wire_Diameter & RazorBlade_Thickness to match whatever your trying to strip and the type of razor blade you are using, maybe use a single edge razor if you're not super comfortable using razor blades.
