I designed this compact case after I discovered the Lilygo T-Beam S3 Core module can operate as a standalone device outside of the T-Beam Supreme dock.
This case comes in 2 parts, a top and a bottom that holds the core in place. The core will easily slip into place if you insert it button corner first and them drop the USB-C connector side into place. The Standard IPEX pigtail should coil 2 times and the SMA connector will slide into the keyed hole Tolerances should keep the SMA connector from free spinning. There is an area designated for the GPS antenna (make sure to install in the correct orientation, face up, for best reception). The buttons are accessible from the outside by use of paper clip similar. There is a small amount of room (about the size of the GPS module) over the LORA chip, you may be able to squeeze a really small battery in there if you are adventurous, otherwise, you will need to power the Core with a USB-C power source. Lastly, the case friction fits together and when you are ready to lock it in, crank the SMA connector nut to lock the bottom and top pieces together as they overlap. Enjoy!
*Note: In the picture you will see the LORA chip with a sticker on it that says 433/470 MHz. If you didn't know the frequencies on this chip are software controlled. It happily connects to 915Mhz nodes (with the appropriate antenna).D
