Here's an impossible dovetail box that I designed. A fun little twist (literally) to this box is the inner compartment that allows the box to have a full-length dovetail but also ensure that whatever gets stored inside will not interfere with the lid sliding off and on.
Hope you enjoy!
Important - Print parts as oriented in the .STL. Supports should be used, though I tried to design the internal structure of the inner body to create bridges and layers.
The purpose of the orientation is to ensure that the dovetail features themselves are properly toleranced, and with the best finish possible. I would be very concerned if the dovetail features were printed face-down on the bed about bridges sagging into the path of the dovetail mechanism itself.
