Description

Case for raspberry-pi zero, zero W and zero 2 W with USB HUB ZERO4U https://www.uugear.com/product/zero4u/. It's for retropie.org.uk gamening console.

I purchased mine through: https://www.adafruit.com/product/3298 shipping to the USA.

If you use Raspberry-pi zero W or zero 2 W with WI-FI, then don't forget to use a ferrite ring for the USB hub. It's necessary for USB stability. The ferrite ring is in the package with a USB hub from version 1.3 https://www.uugear.com/portfolio/is-zero4u-compatible-with-raspberry-pi-zero-w/.

Botton case is the same for all versions.

The top case is for

  • zero and zero W
  • zero 2 W.

The TOP version has three subversions

  • with space for a heatsink
  • without space for a heatsink
  • changed the top moved the heatsink over for my v1.1 2016 Pi HS set, added labels for type. the files can easily be changed if your HS is in a different spot

I added original project files from Fusion 360

Printer settings:

  • PLA filament
  • 0.4 mm Noozle
  • 0.2 mm quality
  • Draft Print / Lower Quality Print on a FlashForge, I loaded to my P1S as well.

Parts:

  • M2 X 8 Screws (4)
  • Raspberry Pi Zero W
  • Zero4u USB Adaptor

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

The original by: @johnyHV is GREAT.

However, my version of the Raspberry Pi heat sink/specs didn't quite align. I received the unit as a “here see what you can do with this” and thought why not? Regardless of the model, I just needed a couple of things changed on the top. The bottom worked fine!

I changed the top; moved the heatsink over for my v1.1 2016 Pi HS set, and added labels for the type of port. The files can easily be changed if your HS is in a different spot
